Laundry Room Renovation

What a whirlwind the last 3 months have been! We moved into our new home at the end of October, literally the day before Halloween. Then we were hit with holiday after holiday – not to mention all the daily life that goes on. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I took that amazingly memorable trip to Waco, TX and I feel like I’m finally catching up with myself.¬† So, I’m sitting down to show you some after pics from the renovations. First up – the laundry room. I don’t know about you, but I spend at least 50% of my week in this room. It’s the chore that never ends! With that in mind, my goal for this room was functionality, clean and simple. Here’s the before pics

Pretty dreary, huh? Now….Ta – Daaaa!!!!!

Laundry Room Reno

I have this cork board here for school papers and reminders. Our laundry room is right by the garage door, so it does tend to be our junk spot as well!

I do still need shelves above the washer and dryer I just haven’t found exactly what I want there yet, I’ll be sure to update you here when I do! I also need curtains. I’ve never lived in a neighborhood before now – I have to say it’s a bit like an open show! Blinds and curtains are pretty high up on the to-do list!

Does any of it look familiar to you!? If you’ve followed along with me for a while, you might think so. I wanted to bring in the key elements of my previous kitchen. As I said, we just moved into this house in October, and I adored my former kitchen. The copper sink, white cabinets, and dark hardware are all inspired from¬†that. I did design that kitchen as well, here’s a pic in case you’ve never seen it or forget…

So, that’s the jist of the laundry room! I feel like I succeeded in making it bright and simple. I don’t mind walking in there at all! Thanks for stopping by, I’ll be sharing more of our renovations so be sure to check back!

Happy Day, friends!
